Call for Proposals for Tutorials

Objectives

Tutorials are an important component of APSIPA ASC program, providing the opportunity to learn about the current research areas of growing interest in the community. We encourage potential speakers to submit their proposals relevant to the theme and areas of APSIPA ASC 2026.

Guidelines

Each proposal should include the following information:

  1. Title of the tutorial.
  2. Presenter information: name, affiliation, email address, and a brief biography.
  3. A summary of presenter's previous experience in delivering tutorials (if applicable).
  4. The rationale for the tutorial, including its importance, timeliness, novelty, and how it can introduce new ideas, topics, and tools to the APSIPA community.
  5. A detailed description of the tutorial, outlining the topics and subtopics covered.
  6. Target audience.
  7. A statement indicating any previous or related versions of this tutorial (if applicable).

Format & Duration

Proposals may adopt one of the following formats:

  • Short form: 90 minutes
  • Long form: 180 minutes, including a coffee break

Important Dates

Notification of proposal acceptance: March 15, 2026
Detailed program submission: June 1, 2026
Registration: August 15, 2026
Tutorial date: November 9, 2026

Organizational Support and Policies

For accepted Tutorial proposals, the APSIPA ASC 2026 will provide the following support:

  • Dedicated venue at Bangkok University of Science and Technology.
  • Basic audiovisual facilities consistent with conference standards.
  • Coffee/tea breaks in accordance with the tutorial schedule.
