The Organizing Committee of APSIPA ASC 2026 cordially invites proposals for Special Sessions (SS). These sessions aim to provide a focused forum for participants to discuss emerging topics or innovative applications that complement the regular program. We encourage potential organizers to submit their proposals relevant to the theme and areas of APSIPA ASC 2026.
Prospective Special Session organizers may: (i) seek additional committed papers to meet the minimum requirement of 5 papers by announcing their intention to organize a session, or (ii) review intentions of other prospective organizers to explore merging two closely-related sessions into one stronger proposal.
Visit the Special Session Matching page to connect with other organizers or authors who may contribute to your session.
Innovation of the proposed topic, along with the expected technical quality and collective impact of the contributed papers.
The professional background and diversity of the session organizers and contributing authors.
Proposals should address emerging topics that may not fully align with a single TC. However, proposers must identify the TC(s) closely related to their topic for better coordination.
Selection of a proposal does not guarantee final session acceptance. Each paper must pass a rigorous peer-review process similar to regular submissions. Only sessions with high-quality accepted papers will be scheduled as lecture sessions in the technical program.
To ensure diversity, no author should appear in more than one paper within the same session, except for an introductory/overview paper by the organizers.
